| 1 Pregnancy isn't permanent (thank goodness!). The mood swings will disappear eventually. |
2 Baby's bones get stronger, limbs get fatter, and skin takes on a healthy glow. |

| 4 | 5 Baby's fingernails are growing long. Don't be surprised if you need to trim both finger and toe nails after baby arrives. |
6 | 7 A surfactant, which helps baby breathe after birth, coats the air sacks (alveoli) in the lungs. |
8 The placenta, which feeds the baby and acts as a barrier between her and mom, continues to grow |
9 You may notice an increase in discharge as you get closer to the end of your pregnancy. This is nothing to worry about unless it smells or looks greenish. |
10
34 wks LMP (32 wks gestation) |
| 11 Mother's antibodies to disease begin flowing rapidly to baby through the placenta. |
12 Baby begins to develop sleeping patterns. Don't worry, they aren't ALWAYS going to be a night owl. |
13 | 14 Now is a good time
to start perineal massage. |
15 Do you get tired of people commenting on how "big" you are getting, and how you "look like you're about to pop?" With all the hormones, it's hard to ignore, but don't take it personally! |

35 wks LMP (33 wks gestation) |
| 18 Do you have your bag packed? Your baby's? Don't forget to pack a few things for your labor partner, too! |
19 Fetal movement starts to slow a bit as the uterus begins to get full with baby |
20 Things are getting cramped inside for the baby! It's soon time to come on out and join us! |
21 Don't forget to get a car seat to bring baby home in. |
22 | 23 Rubbing cocoa-butter or vitamin E gel on your belly soothes itchiness and can help with stretch marks. And don't forget to keep up with your water intake! Drinking water helps reduce swelling in feet, hands, and legs. |
24
Lunar Month 10, 36 wks LMP (34 wks gestation) |
| 25 You'll start to go to your prenatal visits once a week now. Keep doing those Kegel exercises! This will help strengthen your vaginal muscles to help in the birth porcess and it can help with bladder control. |
26 | 27 | 28 | 29 Baby grows over 1/2 ounce of fat per day now. Don't be surprised if you gain a pound a week at this point. |
30 Breathing may become more difficult as the baby grows and gives your lungs less room to expand. You will be able to breathe more easily once the baby drops down against the cervix in preparation for birth. |
