Lunar Month 7, 24 wks LMP (22 wks gestation) |
||||||
| 2 Your baby is almost fully formed about now -- and finally looks like a miniature human instead of other-worldly. |
3 Bones solidify and baby kicks. Sometimes it feels more like a lurch, reminiscent of the loch ness monster (smiles). |
4 Most babies turn upside-down around this time but will continue to rotate until about week 31 LMP. |
5 The baby's heartbeat is very strong now. There might be mild swelling of your feet and ankles. Keep drinking your water! |
6 | 7 If you are not having a homebirth, this is a good time to plan the best route to the place of birth whether that is a birthing center, or a hospital as well as your 'birth bag.' |
8
25 wks LMP (23 wks gestation) |
| 9 Leg cramps getting you down? Want to prevent or lessen their occurrence? Try adding a little potassium to your diet! Bananas and fluids can do the trick. Try flexing your feet-toes pointing up to the ceiling several times -- it helps relieve your calves. |
10 | 11 Keep exercising -- your baby is growing and you'll need the strength to deliver her or him. |
12 | 13 | 14 | 15
26 wks LMP (24 wks gestation) |
| 16 | 17 | 18 You're still experiencing discharge like leukorrhea. Contact your healthcare provider if the discharge is painful or has an overly pungent odor. |
19 If your baby doesn't move 10 times within a 5-hour period (during a regularly active time) you'll want to call a healthcare provider. There may be nothing wrong, but better to be safe. |
20 It's common to be bored with your pregnancy at this point. Don't worry -- things get exciting again later |
21 | 22
27 wks LMP (25 wks gestation) |
| 23 | 24 The baby's hearing continues to develop. |
25 Be careful with premature labor!! |
26 | 27 Your baby can hear the outside world over the sound of the moms' heartbeat. Hello baby! |
28 Try not to lay on your back or stomach from this point forward. It cuts of circulation to the baby. |
29
Lunar Month 8, 28 wks LMP (26 wks gestation) |
| 30 Your baby has assumed the "fetal position," with its legs tucked up to its chest. |
